Broken hearted daughter Penny and son-in-law John are ready to announce Dad's death on the 17th January 2008 and also his funeral which took place on 5th February 2008 at St Mary Magdalen's 'The Blue Roof Church'. The service was taken by the Reverend Canon David Robinson, who is new to the parish and conducted exactly the way Pops would have wanted it, he helped ease our pain, stress and heartache in so many ways. Dad after living with us for the last 10 years to say you will be missed is very much an understatement. We know the love we have for each other will always be there. Night night, God bless Pops. All our love Pen and John xxx. The scattering of Dad's ashes together with those of his faithful friend Polly, his loving dog will be held at a later date.
